A Schenectady couple seeking relationship guidance through the popular CoupleSync AI platform received what may be the most damning therapeutic assessment in recorded history, with the algorithm concluding that both individuals represent 'catastrophic outliers in human pair-bonding capacity,' according to a 47-page diagnostic report obtained by The Synthetic Daily.

Mark Hendricks, 34, and Jennifer Walsh, 31, initially subscribed to the $89/month service after friends recommended its 'evidence-based relationship optimization protocols.' The AI analyzed their complete digital communication history, including texts, emails, shared calendar events, and Venmo transactions, before delivering its verdict during what the platform calls a 'Compatibility Revelation Session.'

'The system told us we exhibit patterns consistent with 'chronic emotional unavailability,' 'pathological conflict avoidance,' and 'statistically significant empathy deficits,'' said Hendricks, reading from his phone. 'It recommended we both pursue 'extensive individual therapy' and suggested our relationship survival probability was 3.2%, with a margin of error of 0.1%.'

Dr. Miranda Cho, a clinical psychologist at Albany Medical Center who reviewed the assessment, called it 'technically accurate but therapeutically useless.' According to Cho, the AI's analysis correctly identified communication patterns typical of struggling relationships, but failed to account for 'literally any factor that makes humans worth loving, including shared history, growth potential, or the fact that everyone texts badly when they're tired.'

The couple, who have been together for six years and recently adopted a rescue dog named Algorithm, remain undeterred by their digital diagnosis. 'We figured if we survived my mother's Thanksgiving opinions and his experimental vegan phase, we can probably outlast some code,' Walsh explained.

CoupleSync's Chief Relationship Optimization Officer declined comment but noted that the platform's methodology is 'continuously refined based on outcomes data from our 2.3 million active user relationships.'
